The Agriculture Program: Commitment to plant 250 trees every year for 5 years is a five-year program that aims to educate people on the importance and benefits of trees and to replant trees that are in danger in the community, especially those destroyed by tropical storms and hurricanes. As part of the program, 250-300 trees will be planted every year in designated areas, including mangroves which are essential for coastal protection and biodiversity. Participants will learn about the environmental, economic, and social benefits of trees, as well as the threats to tree populations, such as deforestation, climate change, and natural disasters. The program will also provide training on tree planting techniques, maintenance, and care.
