  • Machann Pwogram: Empowering Women Entrepreneurs

    The Machann Pwogram is a specialized 13-month program designed to support and empower women who are small business owners in the community. The program offers training and support in areas such as literacy, business management, and best practices for success, with a focus on the unique challenges faced by women entrepreneurs. Participants will learn essential skills and gain knowledge to help them manage their business effectively and efficiently, leading to a thriving and successful business. The program aims to promote economic growth and development in the community by empowering women entrepreneurs with the necessary tools and resources to succeed. The Machann Pwogram is a valuable resource for women who are small business owners, providing them with the opportunity to enhance their skills and knowledge, and ultimately achieve their goals.

  • Agriculture Program

    The Agriculture Program: Commitment to plant 250 trees every year for 5 years is a five-year program that aims to educate people on the importance and benefits of trees and to replant trees that are in danger in the community, especially those destroyed by tropical storms and hurricanes. As part of the program, 250-300 trees will be planted every year in designated areas, including mangroves which are essential for coastal protection and biodiversity. Participants will learn about the environmental, economic, and social benefits of trees, as well as the threats to tree populations, such as deforestation, climate change, and natural disasters. The program will also provide training on tree planting techniques, maintenance, and care. By promoting tree planting and environmental conservation, the program aims to improve the ecosystem, mitigate climate change, protect against natural disasters, and promote sustainable development in the community. The aim of the Agriculture Program is to encourage both individuals and groups to play a part in promoting environmental sustainability and creating a beneficial impact on the community.

  • Summer Art Program: Let Creatives Create

    The Summer Art Program: Let Creatives Create is designed to nurture children's creativity and artistic development. The program provides a safe and inclusive space for children to explore various art forms, including painting, drawing, crafts and sewing. The program is designed to inspire children to think creatively, develop their artistic skills, and build confidence in their abilities. Through a series of guided activities, children will have the opportunity to create unique, personalized items such as bags, paintings, and other crafts.

  • Jounen Netwayaj/Community Clean Up

    Jounen Netwayaj/Community Clean Up is a monthly program that aims to keep the community clean and promote a healthy environment. The program invites all members of the community to participate in clean-up days where they work together to clean various areas of the commune. The program provides the necessary materials and tools, including snacks and refreshments, for the volunteers.   • Taptap Sou Dlo/ Water Ferry Program

    The Taptap Sou Dlo is a water ferry program designed to provide easier transportation for people living in the mountains near the sea.

    The program offers a convenient water taxi service that helps people navigate through difficult terrains and hard-to-reach areas. Participants can enjoy a safe ride, with experienced operators who know the local waters and can ensure a smooth journey. The Taptap Sou Dlo program is a valuable resource for people living in remote regions without access to paved roads, as it provides an affordable and reliable transportation option to help small merchants easily transport their goods to other locations and to help the community with access to essential services, such as healthcare and school. The program aims to promote accessibility and ease of transportation for people living in remote areas, improving their overall quality of life.

  • Bel Plaj/ Beach Clean Up

    The Bel Plaj/ Beach Clean Up program promotes environmental conservation by cleaning up beaches in the community and educating children about the importance of trees. In addition to collecting and disposing of waste and debris from the beaches, the program also provides an opportunity for children to learn about and plant mangroves and almond trees. The program aims to raise awareness about the impact of plastic waste on the environment and marine life, while also promoting reforestation efforts in the community. Through the Beach Clean Up program, participants can contribute to the beautification of their community and help protect the local ecosystem. The program is an excellent opportunity for individuals and communities to come together, educate children, and make a positive impact on their environment.

This is also the time where we acknowledge the oldest people in the community. The event features a delicious meal, music, and a talent show that showcases the diverse talents and cultural heritage of the community. The highlight of the event is the recognition of exceptional individuals who have demonstrated outstanding service, leadership, and dedication to their community, as well as honoring those who have lived the longest and contributed to the rich history and culture of the community. The event provides an opportunity for community members to connect and build relationships, while also celebrating the rich cultural heritage of the community. The event helps to inspire and motivate others to get involved in community service and make a positive impact in their neighborhoods.
